Air Force Marathon

The Air Force Marathon was first run in 1997. Other races breing run in support of the Air Force are the Air Force Marathon, 10K and 5K.

Air Force Marathon Route
The race starts in the grounds of the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Participants run around the perimeter of the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base during which time the will experience the exhilaration of aircrafts flying overhead. Towards the finish line they will be greeted by enthusiastic volunteers, eventually finishing on a runway lined with historic aircraft.

All runners will be presented with a commemorative finisher's medal by an Air Force officer.

* Entry Fee (Civilian) : $85 (until Dec 9), $95 (until Feb 11), $105 (until May 12), $115 (until Jul 14), $130 (until Sep 17), $145 (at Expo)
* Entry Fee (Military) : $75 (until Dec 9), $85 (until Feb 11), $95 (until May 12), $105 (until Jul 14), $120 (until Sep 17), $135 (at Expo)
* Registration Deadline : September 17

Further Information
* Cut-off Time : All participants will be expected to finish within 6 hours 30 minutes.
* Pasta Party : There will be a Gourmet Pasta Dinner on the Friday before the race. Cost is $30.
* Boston Qualifier : Yes
