The Air Force Marathon was first run in 1997. Other races breing run in support of the
Air Force are the Air Force Marathon, 10K and 5K.
Air Force Marathon Route (not 2020)
The race starts in the grounds of the National Museum of the United States Air Force.
Participants run around the perimeter of the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base during which time
the will experience the exhilaration of aircrafts flying overhead. Towards the finish line
they will be greeted by enthusiastic volunteers, eventually finishing on a runway lined with historic aircraft.
All runners will be presented with a commemorative finisher's medal by an Air Force officer.

* Entry Fee (Civilian) : $85 (until Dec 4), $95 (until Feb 6), $105 (until May 7), $115 (until Jul 9), $130 (until Sep 18), $145 (at Expo)
* Entry Fee (Military) : $75 (until Dec 4), $85 (until Feb 6), $95 (until May 7), $105 (until Jul 9), $120 (until Sep 18), $135 (at Expo)

* Cut-off Time : All participants will be expected to finish within 7 hours.
* Pasta Party : There will be a Gourmet Pasta Dinner on the Friday before the race.
* Charities : The Air Force Marathon supports several charities including The Hospice of Dayton
and Air Force Enlisted Village.
