The Colorado Springs Marathon was first run in 2014. As well as a marathon, runners have the option of applying to a half marathon or 5K. There is also a Kids K race and virtual race options.

Colorado Springs Marathon Route
Starting and finishing on Vermijo outside of the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, runners follow a gravel and paved course through the scenic surroundings. Heading west on Colorado Ave the routse goes via America the Beautiful Park. From there, it then heads north along the Greenway Trail through Monument Valley Park. Runners continue on, along the Greenway and Santa Fe trails before turning back and returning to the finish line.
