The Deadwood Mickelson Trail Marathon is scenic race through the Black Hills of South Dakota. There is also a 5K, and a 1K race for kids.

Deadwood Mickelson Trail Marathon Route
Runners follow a point-to-point course, starting in the hamlet of Rochford. After 1.5 miles on road, the route heads onto the Mickelson Trail along flat and uphill terrain for 12 miles. The trail then heads downhill for the final 13 miles finishing at the historic Engine House of the Deadwood Trailhead.
