The Eau Claire Marathon describes itself as "the Biggest Small Town Race in the U.S.". It is part of a two day event, also hosting a Eau Claire Half Marathon, 4 person marathon relay, 10K and 5K.

Eau Claire Marathon Route
The full marathon follows a one lap course starting in Phoenix Park and finishing on Graham Avenue. Staying within the city, spectators will be able to support runners all around the route while runners cross eight bridges going over the Eau Claire and Chippewa Rivers, and to head towards the finish line via the Blugold mile and UW-Eau Claire's lower campus.
