The Estes Park Marathon is run in the Rocky Mountain National Park, with amazingly scenic views for the length of the race.

Estes Park Marathon Route
Starting at the Dao House, off of Highway 7, runners follow a one lap, mixed terrain (dirt trail and paved paths) course. The route is hilly, with a 1500 ft descent over the first 6.5 miles. Along the way the race shows off the area's significant sites (e.g. the historic Stanley Hotel) and amazing scenery. The race ultimately reaches the Estes Park High School track and Field where runners will be enthusiastically cheered to the finish line.
