The Hatfield McCoy Marathon is named after the infamous feud between the Hatfields and McCoys. It is part of a day of running, also including the Blackberry Mountain Half Marathon, River Road Half Marathon, Jeannie Rivard 5k, and a Kid's Run.

Hatfield McCoy Marathon Route
Starting from next to Food City, Thompson Plaza, South Williamson, KY, runners follow a point-to-point course, finishing in Williamson, WV. Along the way, runners will pass many sites related to the historical feud. These include Randolph McCoy's birthplace and Well, Hog Trial Cabin, Paw Paw Trees, Aunt Betty's House, and Rosanna's baby gravesite.
