Jekyll Island Marathon

The Jekyll Island Marathon is the only 26.2 mile race being held on any of the Georgia barrier islands. It is part of the Run Jekyll weekend of running that also includes a Jekyll Island Half Marathon, 10K and a 5K race.

Jekyll Island Marathon Route
The marathon is run on a flat, predominantly tarmac course.

Starting at the corner of Shell Road and Beachview Drive, runners follow a one lap course, preceeded with a a short out-and-back section, around the island. Along the way they will experience some amazing views of the area, including Driftwood Beach and Historic Village.
