The Jersey City Marathon is organised by Jersey City Road Runners, in partnership with the City of Jersey City. There is also the option to a half marathon.

Jersey City Marathon Route
Runners follow a flat and fast, 2-lap course through the streets of Jersey City. Starting in the Newport Section, participants pass along the Waterfront, Paulus Hook, close to Liberty State Park, then down Caven Point road to the Greenville and then Bergen Communities, up through Communipaw. After completing the second lap, the race finishes in the Newport Green area.
