The Kauai Marathon is arguably one of the most scenic marathons in America. There is also the option of running the Kauai Half Marathon.

Kauai Marathon Route
The race starts in the resort of Poipu. The course follows the scenic coastline, offering runners magnificent views of the island's stunning beaches, rugged volcanic peaks, and green tropical rain forests. As dawn breaks, runners will experience lush green vistas as they approach the shade of the impressive century old Tunnel of Trees.

The course continues through misty Omao, heading out to Lawai. Runners are then sent uphill where they will enjoy the stunning ocean views at the top of Kalaheo. The remaining miles are a gradual descent towards a rousing island welcome for all finishers as they return to Poipu Beach.
