The Mesa Falls Marathon rated as one of the top 50 marathons in the USA and regularly receives high praise. There is also a Mesa Falls Half Marathon as well as 10K, 5K and 1 Mile races.

Mesa Falls Marathon Route
The route is predominantly flat, dropping over 800 feet from start to finish. The scenery is some of the most impressive in the country.

The race starts in the scenic Island Park caldera, close to the northern end of highway 47 and heads south past upper and lower Mesa Falls. It then passes Warm River and takes runners across the world famous Idaho potato fields. The race ends at the finish line on Main Street of historic Ashton.
