The Modesto Marathon is a flat and fast race, making it ideal for marathon first-timers and runners aiming for Boston qualification.

Modesto Marathon Route
Starting in downtown Modesto, runners follow a course into historic, tree-lined college neighborhoods. They then pass the Modesto Junior College west campus, before heading into the countryside with stunning views of the Diablo Mountain Range, passing the San Joaquin River National Wildlife Refuge. From there, the course heads back towards downtown, finishing close to the start line.
