The New England Green River Marathon is an exceptionally scenic race that follows the Green River from Marlboro, Vermont to Greenfield, Massachusetts.

New England Green River Marathon Route
Runners experience a course that is net downhill and is considered one of the most beautiful in the USA. Starting from the Potash Hill campus in Marlboro, Vermont, they follow the picturesque, mainly trail, route of the Green River to where it meets the Connecticut River at the Green Mountains of Vermont, and then onto the finish line in Greenfield, Massachusetts.
