North Olympic Discovery Marathon

Organized by the Port Angeles Marathon Association, the North Olympic Discovery Marathon is so-called because it incorporates the Olympic Discovery Trail. It is considered by many to be one of the most scenic races.

North Olympic Discovery Marathon Route
Runners follow a 99% paved point-to-point course. Running along the Olympic Discovery Trail, participants will enjoy stunning views of the Olympic Mountains, with a good chance of seeing seals, eagles, and the many shore birds common to the trail. Continuing on over iconic trestle bridges that provide beautiful backdrops, the race finishes with a five mile stretch along the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
