The Quad Cities Marathon is a popular race held annually on the fourth Sunday in September. There is also a half marathon as well as a 10K, 5K, marathon relay and a micro-marathon for kids.

The race terrain starts hilly, becoming flatter towards the end. It involves 4 cities, 3 bridges, 2 states, and 1 island.

The race starts and finishes on River DR, downtown Moline, IL. Along the way there is frequent live entertainment and amazing views of the Mississippi River.
