Rend Lake Marathon

The Rend Lake Marathon is a scenic, paved marathon, based next to Rend Lake in southern Illinois. It is part of a running event also offering a half marathon and a quarter marathon.

Rend Lake Marathon Route
Starting on Larry E Foster Parkway, near Gun Creek Campground, runners follow a one lap paved course around the southern portion of Rend Lake. With picturesque views of Lake Hamilton and Lake Benton, the route takes a counter-clockwise direction, finishing at North Marcum Beach.
