The Sun Marathon, organised by On Hill Events, is part of a popular annual event also including a half marathon, 10K and a 5K race.

Sun Marathon Route
Starting at the Fairgrounds in Veyo, runners follow an undulating, point-to-point course to Santa Clara. The route has a few hills, but is overall downhill, with a drop of 2600 feet. On the way, runners will pass many significant landmarks including the Gunlock Reservoir and the Shivwits Paiutes Tribe land.
