Wausau Marathon is low key, scenic and highly rated event. There is also a Wausau Half Marathon, 5K and a Wausau Marathon Relay.

Wausau Marathon Route
This course begins in Marathon Park in Wausau, you will run through the surrounding communities of Schofield, Weston, Rothschild, and Rib Mountain before returning to Marathon Park. Runners will have the unique experience of crossing the Wisconsin River three times on this route. It is described as "gently rolling", making it ideal for runners hoping for a PR.
