The Detroit Free Press Marathon is one of several races taking place place over the weekend. Other races include a marathon relay, 5K and Kids Fun Run.

Detroit Marathon Route
Starting and finishing in the Detroit financial district, runners follow an urban course through the city streets. Along the way they will pass significant local sites, passing though the Woodbridge neighborhood, the District Detroit, Eastern Market and the Dequindre Cut, as well as a brief 3-mile stretch through nearby Canada.
