The God's Country Marathon Route, in Galeton, Pennsylvania was first run in 2012. It was a great success and is now an annual event. There are also the options of the God's Country Half Marathon and marathon relay.

God's Country Marathon Route
This is a tough and hilly rural marathon best known for its 2 mile hill between miles 16 and 18. However, many runners have high praise for this race, particularly about the scenery.

Runners start 1,300 feet above sea level, from Galeton High School. They run through the picturesque Susquehannock State Forest, finishing in Coudersport at the historic Potter County Courthouse Square.
