The Helenback Marathon is a trail marathon organised. Georgia Ultrarunning & Trailrunning Society (GUTS). It is part of an event also including a half marathon and a 5K race.

Helenback Marathon Route
Runners start and finish at the staging area, on the field adjoining the Chattahoochee River. They follow a hilly trail route through the surrounding scenery, passing local landmarks such as Smith Creek Dam and Anna Ruby Falls.
