The Marquette Marathon is a scenic race organised by marathon runners for marathon runners. There is also a marathon relay as well as a half marathon and two kids fun runs.

Marquette Marathon Route
The route has received many great reviews, partly because of the amazing scenery. Following many miles of flat shoreline it is a fast race and allows many runners the chance to achieve impressive times.

Runners start in the heart of the small iron mining town of Ishpeming, which is the Ojibwa word for "heaven". The route heads towards and through Negaunee, then on to Marquette.

* Entry Fee : $105 (until Mar 31), $120 (until May 31), $135 (until Aug 28), $150 (Expo)
