The Heartland Marathon is one of a number of events taking place, others including a half marathon, a 10K and a 5K race.

Heartland Marathon Route
Runners follow a two-lap course starting at 1155 Gallup Drive, Omaha, NE on the Omaha Riverfront.

From there, they head south, on a moderately hilly route through the city. Maximum climb is approximately 50 feet.
