The Albany Marathon prides itself on, and shows, plenty of Southern hospitality from the amazingly helpful volunteers and supportive spectators. It is one of the top Boston Marathon qualifiers.

Albany Marathon Route
The race is described as flat and fast. Runners are directed through the town and suburbs, with musical entertainment provided en-route and hydration stations every 2 miles.
